Remove one of the USB plugs and cut the end off to see were we are
at with space. Snip the outer covering and sheilding
to get to the four wires we need access to. We don't want to add that
thick cable to the camcorder.
The plug fits well inside of the case. I will use my key hole saw to cut the
tab so it can slide over the tab on the CVS case. Below is
the first test to see if the eletronics will fit back in with the plug just
resting in there. Screw holes dont line up perfectly so I wil take a small chunk
out of the plug where the speaker and lense are located.

Things are fitting like a charm
right now. Time to cut the case and mount the USB plug. Since i am using
the tab to hold one side of the plug, I will just use one screw hole to mount
the plug. First run with the dremel on the case gives me a hole that is a
little on the small side.

Spending a little more time and using my
Xacto Knife I get the holes that I want.
